The National Cadet Corps aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. Further, it aims at creating a pool of organized, trained and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life, who will serve the nation regardless of which career they choose. The NCC also provides an environment conducive to motivating young Indians to join the armed forces.
Hollotoli School started the NCC journey from 2017 the NCC troop comes under 1 Naga Girls Battalion NCC, Kohima and 24 Naga (I) Coy NCC (Boys).
NCC Cadets are given different kinds of training in the institution. Both practical and theory classes are conducted along with other activities like social services, social awareness campaign, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, tree plantation, blood donation and Punit Sagar Abhiyan, the cadets participate during the Republic Day, Independence Day and NCC day in general.
The Cadets are also exposed to the excitement of camp life where they apply the theoretical knowledge that they had gained in institution training.
NCC Cadets after the successful completion are eligible for certificate examination. Cadets belonging to Junior Division/ Junior Wings are eligible for ‘A’ Certificate exam whereas Cadets of senior Division/ Senior Wing are eligible for ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificate examinations.
