Hollotoli School offers a comprehensive and concept-driven curriculum designed to actively engage students in authentic inquiry, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. We use an integrated, cross-curricular approach within the learning process thus providing an increased opportunity for students to make meaningful academic gains. This allows students of classes I to V to learn individually and collaboratively; think critically and apply knowledge as well as skills in a variety of situations.
Our curriculum is very holistic in nature and combines both the scholastic and the non-scholastic programs. Under the scholastic subjects, we cover English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Information Technology and General Knowledge. We provide subjects such as Dance, Music (Piano, Guitar, Violin and Voice), Art and Craft, as well as Life Skills under the non- scholastic subjects. Furthermore, we also offer Korean, French and Sanskrit as the third language from class V onwards.
Assessment:
Throughout the academic session, the students appear for:
- Two Periodic Tests
- Half-Yearly Examination
- Annual Examination
In addition, a continuous mode of assessment is also offered in the form of Detailed Assessment which is an external assessment provided by Educational Initiatives.
