On the 31st of May, 2023, Hollotoli School observed World No Tobacco Day by conducting a Special Assembly on the theme – “We need food, not tobacco”. The resource person for the event was Dr. Kavito Zhimomi, District Surveillance Officer; District Vector Borne Officer.
The resource person stretched on the issue of how tobacco users are on the rise in Nagaland, especially teenagers, and how it will affect the lives of the youths. He also pointed out the issue related to this year’s theme, “We need food, not tobacco” and how it is affecting the whole world economically.
