SENIOR SCHOOL-Celebrating and marking the last day of Literary Week 2023-24, one that rather ended on an exhilarating note, a debate competition on the topic, ‘HAPPINESS IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN SUCCESS’, was held for pupils of Grade IX-XII.
Beshingam Chinir and Washimongla I Lkr representing NILE HOUSE won the Debate Competition, followed by Binlung Panme and Süngtinaro Longkumer of EUPHRATES HOUSE as 2nd Place winners.
The Best Speaker FOR THE MOTION was awarded to Süngtinaro Longkumer of EUPHRATES HOUSE; Alicia Dilbung of TIGRIS HOUSE was adjudged Best Speaker AGAINST THE MOTION.
Mrs. Deborrah Thabah, Ms. Chubamenla Jamir, and Ms. Lucy Merry were the Judges in the Competition.
JUNIOR SCHOOL –
Day 3 of the Literary Week marked an activity-filled day for the pupils as they participated and enjoyed activities such as Roll a Story, Doughnut Reading, Mailbox Reading, Blackout Reading, Story Reading, Slogan Reading & Poetry Out Loud in English & Hindi.
Pupils were all ears as Sir Ajit Jha narrated a story in Hindi, during the storytelling session.
