An awareness programme on HIV/AIDS was held at Hollotoli School, wherein two representatives from the Office of the Chief Medical Office visited the school and enlightened the pupils on the difference between HIV and AIDS, the most common methods of transmission of HIV, ways HIV is not transmitted, discrimination of people living with HIV/AIDS and how it must be stopped, etc. The pogramme concluded with a Question and Answer round from the pupils to the resource person. The programme was attended by pupils of Grades VIII to X, along with their teachers.
