Hollotoli School observed Literary Week from 18th – 20th May 2022 which is an annual feature of the School calendar. An array of activities were conducted to enhance the literary outlook of the students.
The Literary Week embarked with a special assembly wherein Shri Mmhonlumo Kikon, National Spokesperson BJP, Advisor IT & Communication , Science & Technology, New & Renewable Energy, Government of Nagaland, graced the event as a special guest. Grade VI-XII had the opportunity to attend an interactive session with the special guest. He spoke about the pivotal role of books, inculcating the habit of reading and answered the questions posed by the students regarding various aspects of reading and writing a book.
An inter -house debate competition was conducted the following day to develop the students’ speaking skills and ability to express themselves.Various class activities were conducted under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme on the third day in order to promote the spirit of national integration.
The multifarious activities aimed to showcase the culture, language, literature and great literary figures of the paired state.
A three – day Book Fair was also organized during the week in association with Scholastic India. The Literary Week with its plethora of activities was an enriching experience for the students.
